Distribution in Iran. Golestan (Heiss & Linnavuori 2002 ), Guilan ( Linnavuori 2007), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013).
General distribution and hosts. Central and Southern Europe, Southern Russia, Iran and Caucasus ( Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia); collected on Quercus sp. ( Linnavuori 2007).
