Campylomma leptadeniae ( Linnavuori, 1975) View in CoL
Distribution in Iran. Hormozgan ( Linnavuori 2004b), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013).
General distribution. Eremian species, known from Northeastern Africa, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Yemen; living on Leptadenia pyrotechnica ( Linnavuori 2004b) .
Campylomma liebknechti Girault, 1934
This species, described from Australia, was listed for the first time from Iran (Isfahan) on Spinacia deracea by Abd-Rabou & Ghahari (2006) and later also recorded by Lehr et al. (2007) from Fars and Tehran. Its presence in Iran was recently challenged ( Aukema et al. 2013). The specimens from Fars and Tehran were identified by the late I.M. Kerzhner (ZMAS), however the presence of the species in Iran should be confirmed by a detailed study of available specimens because C. liebknechti is not yet known from Palearctic region with certainty and because numerous other species of Campylomma —including several recently described species—are present in Iran. General distribution. Australia.
