Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Linnavuori 2007, 2010), Guilan ( Linnavuori 2007), West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2010), Zanjan ( Linnavuori 2007), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013). General distribution. Iran and Southern Turkey.

Oncotylus (Oncotylus) viridiflavus viridiflavus (Goeze, 1778)

Listed as “commonly distributed in Iran ” by Modarres Awal (2002) and from East Azarbaijan by Sadaghian et al. (2004) - under the spelling O. viridirawus viridirawus [sic] (Hoez) - and by Nikdel et al. (2011). These records could belong to O. viridiflavus longiceps (cf. Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution. Subspecies widely distributed from Central and South Europe to Central Asia.
