Distribution in Iran. Guilan (Hosseini et al. 2000 under the junior homonym Orthocephalus tenuicornis (Say, 1852) ; Linnavuori 2007; Namyatova & Konstantinov 2009), Khorasan (Namyatova & Konstantinov 2009), Khuzestan ( Wagner 1943 under the junior O. tenuicornis Mls ; Namyatova & Konstantinov 2009), Semnan (Namyatova & Konstantinov 2009), Iran (no locality cited) ( Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution. Holomediterranean species, also known from Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq and Poland.
