Diagnosis. This species differs from the other species of the genus Leucophenga in having the aedeagus laterally with a long, medially expanded process ( Fig. 24D View FIGURE 24 ).

dark yellow ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ). Clypeus entirely brownish yellow. Palpus brownish yellow ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ). Mesonotum mostly dark yellow ( Fig. 6H View FIGURE 6 ). Postpronotal lobe yellow ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ). Acrostichal setulae in ca. 12–14 irregular rows ( Fig. 6H View FIGURE 6 ). Scutellum entirely brownish yellow ( Fig. 6H View FIGURE 6 ). Pleura, katepisternum, and mesopleuron mostly yellow ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ). Wing ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ): mostly clouded ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ); costal vein between R 2+3 and R 4+5 distally with ca. 7 peg-like spinules on ventral surface; R 4+5 and M 1 slightly convergent distally; halter mostly yellowish, with a brownish yellow to brownish patch at knob ( Fig. 6H View FIGURE 6 ). Abdominal tergites mostly yellow, with variable dark brown to black patches in both male ( Figs. 9L View FIGURE 9 , 10A View FIGURE 10 ) and female ( Fig. 10B View FIGURE 10 ), 3rd tergite mostly yellowish except for lateral region, setigerous laterally and on posterior margin in males, 4th and 5th tergites usually dark brown to black posteriorly. Male terminalia: Epandrium pubescent, with ca. 20 setae near posterior and ventral margins per side ( Fig. 24A View FIGURE 24 ). Cercus and surstylus pubescent ( Fig. 24A View FIGURE 24 ). Hypandrium with 1 sensillum ( Fig. 24B View FIGURE 24 ). Paramere slender, narrow basally and rounded apically, with ca. 2 sensilla medially and ca. 5 ones distally ( Fig. 24C View FIGURE 24 ).
