Leucophenga delta Huang & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.
( Figs. 3D View FIGURE 3 , 7A–C View FIGURE 7 , 10F View FIGURE 10 , 15A, 15B View FIGURE 15 , 27 View FIGURE 27 )
Diagnosis. This species is most similar to L. valvata sp. nov. in the having the postocellar setae minute ( Figs. 7A View FIGURE 7 , 8M View FIGURE 8 ), the mesonotum and scutellum entirely brownish yellow ( Figs. 7B View FIGURE 7 , 8N View FIGURE 8 ), the pleura lacking stripe above ( Figs. 7C View FIGURE 7 , 8O View FIGURE 8 ), and the wing mostly clouded ( Figs. 3D View FIGURE 3 , 4E View FIGURE 4 ), but can be distinguished from the latter in having the epandrium with pubescence and setae ( Fig. 27A View FIGURE 27 ); surstylus rounded and pubescent ( Fig. 27A View FIGURE 27 ); paramere triangular, apically acute ( Fig. 27C View FIGURE 27 ); aedeagus ventrolaterally with a long process ( Fig. 27D View FIGURE 27 ); see below for that species.
Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with ca. 3–5 setae above ocellar setae. Frons brownish to brown ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ). Orb 3 and Orb 2 parallel ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ). Pedicel brownish; first flagellomere yellow ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ). Clypeus entirely brownish. Palpus dark yellow ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ). Postpronotal lobe brownish yellow ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ). Acrostichal setulae in ca. 12–14 irregular rows ( Fig. 7B View FIGURE 7 ). Katepisternum and mesopleuron mostly yellow to dark yellow ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ). Wing ( Fig. 3D View FIGURE 3 ): Costal vein between R 2+3 and R 4+5 distally with ca. 6 or 7 peg-like spinules on ventral surface; R 4+5 and M 1 slightly convergent distally; halter yellow, usually with dark yellow to brownish yellow patches at stem and knob ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ). Abdominal tergites brownish to black, 2nd tergite yellow submedially and laterally, 3rd tergite not shortened in males, yellow submedially and laterally, 4th tergite yellow submedially and sublaterally ( Fig. 10F View FIGURE 10 ). Male terminalia: Epandrium with ca. 10 setae near posterior margin and ventral corner per side ( Fig. 27A View FIGURE 27 ). Cercus pubescent ( Fig. 27A View FIGURE 27 ). Paramere with ca. 1 sensillum submediodorsally and ca. 4 ones distally ( Fig. 27C View FIGURE 27 ).
