Type material: Holotype: ³, China, Yunnan, Yingjiang County, Xima Town , 2. X. 2019, Surnaa & Qian, H. G., leg. ( IMNU). The specimen is provided with type label accordingly.

Description. Male. Body blackish brown. Eyes reddish. Antennae and legs beset with dense hairs. Thorax and tergal plate deeply punctured.

Head. Wider across eyes than long (1.25: 0.75); clypeus strongly raised anteriorly, reaching basal fifth of first antennal segment; genae short, not reaching the apex of clypeus with a pair of knob-like tubercles basally; antenniferous lobes cup-like; antennae 1.48 times as long as width of head across eyes, length of antennal segments I to IV = 0.60: 0.30: 0.55: 0.40; eyes stalked, large, directed anterolaterally; postocular borders constricted posteriorly; vertex anteriorly with a median inverted triangular depression, a transvers carina behind clypeus, and posteriorly with a longitudinal strongly elevated granulate carina flanked by a pair of large, ovate infraocular granulate callosities; rostrum long, almost reaching to posterior margin of prosternum; rostral groove wide, deep, opened posteriorly.

Pronotum. 2.43 times as wide as long (1.7: 0.70); anterolateral borders slightly sinuate, oblique; anterior margin concave; disk transversally granulate and carinate anteriorly, followed posteriorly by a median T-shaped longitudinal groove flanked by a pair of subtriangular sclerites, laterad of groove with three large prominent tubercles on either side; lateral margins straight; posterior margin broadly convex, carinate, smooth.

Mesonotum. Wider than pronotum (2.1: 1.7); separated from pronotum by very deep furrows; median ridge with a pair of large round longitudinal tubercles flanked by punctured sclerites; disc narrow, broad, with a pair of prominent conical tubercles on either side.

Metanotum. Wider than mesonotum (2.3: 2.1); fused with mtg I+II and mesonotum, median ridge with a pair of large round longitudinal tubercles flanked by punctured sclerites.

Abdomen. Mtg I+II completely fused with tergal plate, median ridge with two short longitudinal carinae on mtg I and two oblique longitudinal carinae on the mtg II; tergal plate subquadrangular, posterior margin truncate, lateral margins slightly rounded, median pentagonal ridge highly raised on mtg IV, flanked by a pair of transverse short ridges on mtg III, then tapering posteriorly; laterad of median ridge with the usual pattern of large and small callous spots; deltg II–VII separated by fine sulci, lateral margins of deltg II–VII raised and carinate with pairs of pilose tubercles on posterior margin of each segment; pygophore sinuate posteriorly; paratergites VIII short and truncate.

Venter. Prosternum with a round pilose median elevation; meso- and metasterna fused to each other, separated from prosternum and mst I+II by a transverse sulcus; metathoracic scent gland evaporatoria prominent, straight and widely gaping, laterally visible from above; anterior margin of mst III–VI deeply pitted; mst VII with a prominent round tubercle at middle; spiracles II absent, III to VII placed on vltg III–VII, V–VII visible from above, VIII terminal.

Legs. Femora moderately incrassate, with trochanters separated; tibiae straight; protibial comb present; claws without pulvilli.

Measurements [in mm, ³ (n=1)]. Body length 4.75; maximal width of abdomen 2.5 length of head 0.75, width 1.25; length pronotum 0.70, width 1.7; width of mesonotum 2.1; width of metanotum 2.3; length of antennae 1.85.
