Roeselia sikkima Moore, 1888 , Description of new Indian Lepidopterous Insects from the Collection of the late Mr. W. S. Atkinson, 1888: 287.
TL: Darjeeling , Sikkim, [West Bengal] India. Lectotype (♀) designated by László et al. (2010).
TD: NHMUK.
Distribution in India. West Bengal (Darjeeling) (Moore 1888).
Elsewhere. Supposedly endemic to Sikkim, specimens from East Nepal are deposited in the MWM ( Joshi et al. 2019)
Remarks. N. sikkima was synonymised under Celema confusalis (from Europe) by Hampson. Some Indian workers treated confusalis in their lists from Indian region. As both are now treated as well established species, C. confusalis is removed from Indian list.
