Longiflagrum nasutus ( Nunomura, 2005) View in CoL new combination
Apseudes nasutus Nunomura, 2005 .
Material examined
1 male allotype ( TOYA 13103), 1 female paratype ( TOYA 13104).
Remarks
Nunomura (2005) described Apseudes nasutus from Okinawa Island and referred this species to the genus Apseudes and indicated no dorsal setal row on pleonite 1 ( Nunomura 2005:27,fig.1A). The lack of spiniform coxa apophyses, however, would seem to exclude this species from the Apseudidae . Also, the first pleonite setal band is present on the type material and, combined with the greatly enlarged pereopod 1 carpus and the almost equal length of the antennular rami this diagnoses it as a parapseudid, Apseudes nasutus is here transferred to Longiflagrum (Parapseudidae) .
