Distribution. Andhra Pradesh: Araku Hills; Tamil Nadu: Nilgiri Hills (Western Ghats). Non-mangrove.
Habitat dependence. Transient—Adults and larvae. Larvae are usually found in muddy pools, paddy fields, rock pools and spring pools.
