Remarks. A possible species complex, which can be confused with H. pallidus and the Hypsibius convergens - dujardini complexes (Kaczmarek & Michalczyk 2009). The distribution of Hypsibius microps sensu lato is largely Holarctic ( McInnes 1994), but specimens of this group should be examined extremely carefully as they may represent new species.
