Antepipona cingulifer is known from the Afrotropical ( Cameroon, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Sudan) and Palaearctic ( Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen) regions. Walker’s record drom Djibouti was not cited in the scientific literature before BEQUAERT (1918), who mentioned it under Odynerus defractus .
