Casuarina Beach, Lizard Island , Queensland, Australia (14 ◦ 40 ′ 30 ′′ S, 145 ◦ 26 ′ 36 ′′ E).

Cocos (Keeling) Islands. 4 specimens, AM P.81853 , Turks Reef (12 ◦ 6 ′ 43 ′′ S, 96 ◦ 49 ′ 42 ′′ E), 3.8 m, rubble, by hand on SCUBA, 10 October 2008, coll. L.E. Hughes (MI WA 816); 10+ specimens, AM P.81854, off West Island Jetty (12 ◦ 5 ′ 15 ′′ S, 96 ◦ 50 ′ 13 ′′ E), 1.5 m, rubble, by hand on SCUBA, 14 October 2008, coll. L.E. Hughes (MI WA 843) .
