Pinndorama species are distributed across different biomes in South America ( Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ), such as the Cerrado savannah in Central Brazil, Amazonian and Atlantic rainforests, and moist Andean Forest, ranging in altitude from 0 to 1,500 m a.s.l. ( Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ).
