Material examined. One specimen. ZMBN105583, VIAIR, 25 May 2015, 3m, 14mm, collected by Y. Tibiriçá & M. Malaquias.

Habitats. Seagrass in the tropical region.

Occurrences. Vamizi Island.

Geographic distribution. Indo-west Pacific. Solomon Islands, Australia, Indonesia ( Gosliner e t al. 2008), India (Remakrishna et al. 2010) and Mozambique.

Remarks. First record for the western Indian Ocean.
