70. Seminavis latior (A. Schmidt) Danieledis & D.G. Mann Fig. 82 View FIGURES 80–101

References: Danielidis & Mann (2003), p. 34, figs 35–41; Wachnicka & Gaiser (2007), p. 440, figs 226, 227.

Samples: Moen1_ Halimeda View in CoL ; Moen5_ Padina View in CoL

Dimensions: 37.2–47.1 μm long, 8.0–9.1 μm wide; dorsal striae 19–21 in 10 μm, ventral striae 17–21 in 10 μm.

Comments: According to Wachnicka & Gaiser (2007), S. latior differs from S. robusta in having slightly denser striae, the dorsal striae crossed by a fine longitudinal line, and a tendency toward a semi-rhombic shape, whereas there is no line in S. robusta , which tends toward elliptic lanceolate. However, we have found it difficult to ascertain these differences in our material, particularly the fine longitudinal line.
