Dimensions: 69.2 μm long, 7.0 μm wide.
Distribution: Globally distributed in warm waters ( Körner 1970), including Guam ( Lobban et al. 2012)
Comments: The}-shaped bar separating the basal pore field from the rest of the valve separates this monospecific genus from Koernerella and Perideraion ( Lobban et al. 2012, Lobban & Perez 2016).
