Dimensions: 19.3 μm long, 7.8 μm wide; 26 striae in 10 μm.

Comments: The dimensions agree with those in Hustedt (1927 –1966) but the valves are elliptical and lack the rostrate apices. The difficulties of identifying such specimens was detailed by Lobban (2015a) in discussing Guam records.
