Diagnosis. Male. Length 3.4 mm ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–12 ). Other characters as described by Thapa (1984).
Female. Length 3.4 mm ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–12 ). Body yellowish; pronotum with three small black spots on anterior and posterolateral margin, pronotum, mesonotum and scutellum yellowish, triangles slightly brownish ( Figs 4, 6 View FIGURES 1–12 ). Face yellowish, with single dark patch below each antennal pit ( Figs 5, 6 View FIGURES 1–12 ). Forewing hyaline except apex of clavus brownish, and brochosome field with dark patches on anterior and posterior margin ( Figs 4, 6 View FIGURES 1–12 ).
Material examined. 1♂ 1♀, National Forest Park of the Daweishan Mountain , Yunnan Province, alt. 2048 m, 22 May 2015, coll. Bin Yan.
Host plant. Alnus nepalensis D. Don.
Distribution. China (Yunnan), Nepal.
