Pimentel & Pujol, 2000: 11 (key to species); 15–16 (redescription); 16, figs 43 (male head, dorsal view), 44 (male head, frontal view), 45 (male head, lateral view), 46 (male apex of antenna), 47 (male thorax, dorsal view) and 48 (male wing); 17, figs 49 (epandrium, dorsal view), 50 (male genitalia, ventral view), 51 (male genitalia, ventral view) and 52 (aedeagus).
Type locality: Brazil, São Sebastião.
Allotype ♀ with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “São Paulo [State of São Paulo, Brazil] | Parque | Cajurú | xii.911 [xii.1911] [in vertical position] | Schrobel col.”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “18.599”; (3) printed on white paper: “61376”; (4) handwritten on red paper: “ Analcocerus | ♀ taurus | James | ALLOTYPE”; (5) printed on white paper: “64”; (6) printed on green paper: “ MZSP ”.
Condition of type. Missing parts: left antenna, right wing and terminal part of abdomen with genitalia.
