Type locality: Brazil, Goiás.

Holotype ♂ with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “Goyas [State of Goiás, Brazil] | Campinas | Spitz xi.37 [xi.1937]”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ Chrysochlorina | albipes | ♂ James | HOLOTYPE ”; (3) handwritten on white paper: “48”.

Condition of type: terminal part of abdomen with genitalia and right wing slide mounted, left wing damaged at apex. Missing parts: antennae except scapes.

Additional note: Woodley (2001: 175) stated that the depository institution of this species was unknown. However, the holotype is deposited in the MZUSP.
