Diagnosis. Female. Body length 15.4–16.0 mm. Inner eye margins strongly divergent below, MID ca. 4.3 × as long as LID ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C). Pygidial plate an isosceles triangle in shape, its apical margin broadly round. Body largely black, but following parts brown to ferruginous: fore tibiae, tarsi of all legs, tegula, spurs and spines of all legs, basal half of mandible, and palpi.
Male. Body length 11.5–14.2 mm. Bristles on pygidial plate golden. MID ca. 6.4 × as long as LID ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D). Apical margin of clypeus round ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D). Genitalia as in Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 D: gonocoxite slender, rod-shaped, with trapezoidal turbercle in its proximal part; inner margin of digitus with comparatively long and dense setae (in the other Korean species, setae shorter or sparser); middle part of aedeagus slightly constricted.

Yeo); 1 ♂, ditto, 24.viii.2001 (H.S. Lee); 1 ♂, Gadeok-ri, Geumseong-myeon, Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, 3.x.2002 (S.J. Lee); 1 ♂, ditto, 23.ix.2000 (S.J. Lee).
