Genus: Islamia Radoman, 1973 View in CoL

Type species: Hydrobia valvataeformis Möllendorf, 1873

Shell valvatoid with pointed apex and tumid whorls, umbilicus semi open to perforate and deep. Penis large and muscular, split at the distal tip. Genital chamber lost and two rs (rs 1 and 2) at the same level are present ( Radoman, 1983).
