Description. ♂. Fully winged; body length 1.4–2.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna tes- taceous, occasionally brown, except scape and pedicel testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous, except metacoxa, club of metafemur and metatibia partly brown; in two specimens from Madagascar, 17°17.00’S 49°26.00’E, and three specimens from Kenya, Vuria Forest, legs completely yellow-testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 7:4:4:4:4:4.5:4:4:4:6. Head dull or shiny, reticulate rugose and granulate (occasionally area in front of anterior ocellus punctate and unsculptured among punctures; in few small specimens from Kenya, 2.07846°S 38.22530°E, head almost completely unsculptured and shiny, except some lateral and anterior areas granulate); frontal line complete (absent in three specimens from Kenya, Vuria Forest); occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 3.5; OPL = 3; TL = 3. In specimen from Kenya, Vuria Forest, POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 5; OPL = 2; TL = 3; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli about as long as OL. Mesoscutum shiny, weakly or strongly granulate. In two specimens from Madagascar, 18°55.58’S 48°24.47’E and Ranomafana, mesoscutum finely punctate and unsculptured among punctures (as in Anteon emeritum Olmi ). In specimens from Kenya, 2.07846°S 38.22530°E, mesoscutum almost completely unsculptured and shiny, except small lateral areas granulate. In specimen from Uganda, 0°33.859’S 30°21.630’E, mesoscutum slightly granulate, except small surface near anterior margin rugose. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.3–0.6 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured or finely punctate. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, with transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity completely reticulate rugose, with tracks of two longitudinal keels; in specimens from Madagascar (21°13.57’S 47°22.19’E, 17°17.00’S 49°26.00’E and 18°55.58’S 48°24.47’E), propodeal declivity with two distinct longitudinal keels and median area as rugose as lateral areas (in specimen from Madagascar, 21°15.99’S 47°25.21’E, median area partly shiny and unsculptured). Usually largest specimens with distinct longitudinal keels on propodeal declivity, smallest specimens with tracks of longitudinal keels. Occasionally propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands or spots; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (2.5:7). Paramere (Figs 43D–F) with distal inner rounded (in small specimens) or pointed (in large specimens) process; dorsal membranous process with distal area bare (Fig. 43D). In specimens from Madagascar, inner side of paramere with membranous band transversely striate (Fig. 43F). In specimen from Madagascar, 17°41’36’’S 49°27’37’’E, MG-37B-12, distal region of paramere inner process only visible as darker region. In some specimens from Madagascar, distal inner process faint (then genitalia very similar to those of A. zairense , but with dorsal membranous process short (long in A. zairense ( Figs 79F, G )). In specimen from Democratic Republic of the Congo, 01°56’29.82’’N 30°02’19.17’’E, distal inner process of paramere very large. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
