Anteon afrum Olmi 1984: 375 ; Guglielmino & Olmi 1997: 222–223; Guglielmino et al. 2013: 46; Olmi et al. 2015: 340.
Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 2.0– 2.7 mm. Head black, except mandible yellow-testaceous; antenna yellow-testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; tegula and legs yellow-testaceous. Antenna clavate; antenno- meres in following proportions: 8:4:2:2:2.5:2:2:3:2.5:4.5. Head dull, smooth, completely granulate; frontal line absent; frons without lateral keels; occipital carina complete; POL = 4; OL = 3; OOL = 4; OPL = 2.5; TL = 4. Pronotum dull, granulate; posterior surface longer than anterior surface and shorter than mesoscutum (5:7); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum granulate. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum (in specimen from Madagascar, 12°31.13’S 49°10.45’E, right notaulus reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum, left notaulus absent). Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, with strong transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity granulate, without longitudinal keels, not reticulate rugose. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (2:4). Protarsomeres in following proportions: 4:1.5:2:3:9. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 35B View FIGURE 35 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 35B View FIGURE 35 ) with two rows of 13–16 lamellae; apex with 3–4 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
♂. Fully winged; body length 1.4–1.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous; me- sosoma and metasoma black; tegula and legs testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 7:5:5:5:6:5:5:5:5:7. Head dull, granulate; frontal line incomplete and slight; frons without lateral keels; occipital carina complete; POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 4.5; OPL = 3; TL = 4. Mesoscutum shiny, smooth, slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures, with some very slightly granulate areas near margins. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, with strong transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels, completely finely reticulate rugose. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (1.5:5). Paramere ( Fig. 35G View FIGURE 35 ) without distal inner pointed process and without proximal membranous process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
