Occasionally (in specimens from South Africa, 29°37.41’S 31°06.454’E) antenna brown, except antennomeres 1–4 or 1–5 testaceous. In specimens from Mali, Katibougou, antenna brown, except scape and pedicel testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 6:3.5:3.5:3:2.5:3:3.5:3.5:3.5:4.5. Head dull, granulate, with frons completely or partly granulate and reticulate rugose (occasionally very weakly rugose); frontal line present; frons without lateral keels near orbits and directed towards antennal toruli; occipital carina complete; POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 4; OPL = 3; TL = 4. Pronotum dull, granulate, with few transverse keels; posterior surface shorter than mesoscutum (5:9); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum dull, granulate. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.25 × length of mesoscutum; in series of specimens from Tanzania, Mkomazi Game Reserve, few specimens with notauli reaching about 0.25 × length of mesoscutum and other specimens with shorter notauli, slightly visible near anterior margin of mesoscutum; two specimens from Mali, Katibougou, and one specimen from Uganda, Kawanda, with notauli very shortly present near anterior margin of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc with strong transverse posterior keel, reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels, with areolae less wide than those of metapectal-propodeal disc. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands, occasionally with very slight dark spot situated across 2R1 cell; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (2:6). Protarsomeres in following proportions: 5:2:2:3:9. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 78E View FIGURE 78 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 78E View FIGURE 78 ) with one row of 10–15 lamellae; apex with 4 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

♂. Fully winged; body length 1.7–1.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna completely tes- taceous; occasionally antennomeres 3–10 slightly darkened; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs completely testaceous; occasionally coxae, femora and tibiae brown. In specimen from South Africa, Ashburton, 9–24.XI.2005, head brown, except irregular testaceous spots on frons, vertex and occiput. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 9:5:5:6:5:6:6:5:5:8. Head dull, completely granulate; frontal line complete; frons without lateral keels near orbits and directed towards antennal toruli; occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL = 4; OPL = 2.5; TL = 2.5; in some specimens from Congo, POL = 5; OL = 4; OOL = 5; OPL = 3; TL = 5. Mesoscutum dull, granulate, with some slight areolae near anterior margin. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc with or without strong transverse posterior keel, reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels, completely reticulate rugose, with areolae less wide than those of metapectal-propodeal disc. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (3:7). Paramere ( Fig. 77C View FIGURE 77 ) without distal inner pointed process and proximal membranous process; in specimen from South Africa, Guernsey Farm, inner side of paramere with some transverse folds.
