Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 3.7 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous (with teeth brown); an- tenna testaceous, except antennomeres 9–10 brown; mesosoma and metasoma black; tegula testaceous; legs brown, except tarsi testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 17:6:7:5:5:6:6:6:6:11. Head shiny, granulate and reticulate rugose; frontal line present; frons with two lateral keels near orbits and directed towards antennal toruli; occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 5; OOL = 4; OPL = 6; TL = 4. Pronotum shiny, slightly granulate, unsculptured near the posterior margin; posterior surface very long, more than 0.5 × as long as mesoscutum (9:16); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum shiny, slightly granulate. Notauli absent. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Mesopleuron shiny, unsculptured. Metapleuron with numerous irregular keels. Metapectal-propodeal disc with strong transverse posterior keel, reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity granulate, with numerous slight transverse keels, with slight tracks of two longitudinal keels. Forewing with distal wide dark transverse band; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (3:10). Protarsomere 1 longer than 4 (7:4); protarsomere 4 approximately 0.5 × as long as basal part of 5. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 57B View FIGURE 57 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 57B View FIGURE 57 ) with basal part much longer than apical part, with 22 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: MADAGASCAR: Toamasina, Fanovana , VII.1933, Seyrig leg. ( MNHN) .
Hosts. Unknown.
Distribution. Madagascar.
Remarks. According to Ceballos (1936), the type locality is Fanovari. However, this locality apparently does not exist (see Viette 1991). The correct name is probably Fanovana.
