Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 2.7 mm. Head brown, except mandible, clypeus and anterior part of frons (with stripe along orbits) testaceous; antenna brown, except scape, pedicel and flagellomeres 7–8 testaceous; mesosoma brown, except lateral regions of pronotum testaceous, part of mesoscutum yellow and mesoscutellum, metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity brown-black; metasoma brown; legs brown, except trochanters testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 7:3.5:8:5:4.5:4:3:3:3:5. Head excavated, shiny, unsculptured; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; POL = 1.5; OL = 1.5; OOL = 6. Palpal formula 5/3. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, completely shiny, unsculptured. Mesoscutum shiny, unsculptured, with two small pointed apophyses laterally ( Fig. 217C View FIGURE 217 ). Mesoscutellum shiny, smooth, slightly sloping anteriorly. Metanotum short, punctate, unsculptured among punctures, weakly excavated behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 217D View FIGURE 217 ). Metapectal-propodeal disc shiny, unsculptured; propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron shiny, unsculptured. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 10:2:3:9:15. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 212E View FIGURE 212 ) with one small subapical tooth and two proximal bristles. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 212E View FIGURE 212 ) with two rows of 3 + 11 lamellae situated in distal half; apex with approximately 10 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: MADAGASCAR: Toliara, Beroboka Forest , 5.9 km 131° SE Ankidra- noka, 22°13.59’S 43°21.59’E, 80 m, 12–16.III.2002, pitfall trap, in tropical dry forest, Fisher, Griswold et al. leg., BLF 6068, ( CAS) GoogleMaps .
