World species. One species is known, present in the Afrotropical region.
Remarks. The ♂ of Vannoortia shares the absence of an inner slender process of the parameres and complete notauli with Madecadryinus , but these two genera can be easily separated by the shape of the head (occiput very excavated and minimum distance between eyes and occipital carina much shorter than OOL in Madecadryinus ; occiput less excavated and minimum distance between eyes and occipital carina approximately as long as OOL in Vannoortia ).
