Diagnosis. Apterous ♀ of Gonatopus with palpal formula 6/3; head granulate, black, except mandible, clypeus, small area between antennal toruli, malar space and narrow stripe near malar space along orbits testaceous; temple without sharp carina; mesosoma brown-black; pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression; mesoscutum about twice as long as broad, with two lateral pointed apophyses ( Fig. 217A View FIGURE 217 ); metanotum about coplanar to mesoscutellum; mesopleuron without lateral pointed prominence; meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete; metapectal-propodeal disc without strong median furrow, unsculptured; protarsomere 1 slightly shorter than 4; enlarged claw ( Figs 212B View FIGURE 212 , 235C View FIGURE 235 ) with one small subapical tooth and one row of peg-like setae.
Description. ♀ ( Figs 217A, B View FIGURE 217 , 231 View FIGURE 231 ). Apterous; body length 3.5–3.7 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus, small area between antennal toruli, malar space and short narrow stripe along orbits near malar space testaceous; antenna brown, except scape and pedicel brown-testaceous and flagellomere 8 whitish (in paratype flagellomeres 7 and 8 whitish); mesosoma brown-black, except apex of propodeal declivity yellow; petiole black; metasoma brownblack; proleg brown, except part of coxa, trochanter and tarsus testaceous; mesoleg brown, except tarsus testaceous; metaleg brown, except tarsus and part of tibia testaceous (in paratype proleg brown, except part of coxa and trochanter whitish; meso- and metaleg brown, except part of tibiae and tarsi testaceous). Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 8:5:19:10:8:7:6:6:4:8. Head ( Fig. 231C View FIGURE 231 ) excavated, dull, granulate; frontal line complete; occipital carina shortly present behind and on sides of lateral ocelli; POL = 1; OL = 1.5; OOL = 8; greatest breadth of lateral ocellus about as long as OL. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, shiny, unsculptured. Mesoscutum shiny, unsculptured, about twice as long as broad (11:6) (shortest breadth), laterally with two pointed apophyses ( Fig. 230I View FIGURE 230 ). Mesoscutellum shiny, flat, unsculptured. Length of mesoscutum + mesoscutel-lum about 3 × as long as breadth of mesoscutum (17:6). Metanotum shiny, unsculptured, sloping anteriorly, not or weakly excavated behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 239A View FIGURE 239 ), with sides rounded, not protruding. Metapectal-propodeal disc ( Fig. 231A, B View FIGURE 231 ) fusiform, shiny, unsculptured; propodeal declivity with transverse striae on distal half. Meso- pleuron and metapleuron unsculptured. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres ( Fig. 231D View FIGURE 231 ) in following proportions: 16:3:5:17:26. Enlarged claw ( Figs 212B View FIGURE 212 , 235C View FIGURE 235 ) with one small subapical tooth and one row of five-six peg-like setae + one bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Figs 212B View FIGURE 212 , 235C View FIGURE 235 ) without proximal serrate area, with two rows of 3–4 (proximal) + 18–19 lamellae; apex with five-seven lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
