Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 2.2–3.0 mm. Yellow-reddish, except head slightly brownish, antennomeres 3–10 brownish, petiole black, metasoma black-brown and club of profemur brown. Specimen from Mozambique, Cuamba, completely yellow-testaceous, except petiole black. Antennomeres in following proportions: 4:4:11:6:4

.5:5:4.4:4:5.5. Head (Fig. 239C) excavated, shiny, bare, unsculptured. Palpal formula 4/2. Pronotum dull, crossed by strong transverse impression. Mesoscutum dull, with some longitudinal keels, without lateral pointed apophy- ses. Metanotum transversely striate. Metapectal-propodeal disc smooth; propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Chelae missing in holotype. In specimen from Madagascar, Bereboka, enlarged claw (Fig. 235E) with one small subapical tooth, two peg-like setae and four bristles; protarsomere 5 (Fig. 235E) with two rows of 3 + 13 lamellae situated in distal half; apex of protarsomere 5 with at least 13 lamellae. In specimen from Madagascar, Berenty, protarsomere 5 (Fig. 235F) with one row of 15 lamellae situated in proximal and distal half. In specimen from Mozambique, Cuamba, enlarged claw with five peg-like setae; protarsomere 5 with one row of 22 lamellae situated in proximal and distal half; apex of protarsomere 5 with nine lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Types: ♀ holotype: MADAGASCAR: Toliara, Bekily , III.1941, A. Seyrig leg. ( MNHN). Paratypes: same locality label as holotype, VII.1937, A. Seyrig leg., 11♀♀ ( MNHN, MRAC). Other material: MADAGASCAR: Toliara, 60 km NE of Morondava, Bereboka , 4♀♀ (2 in NHMUK, 2 in AMNH); Toliara, 12 km NW of Amboasary, Berenty , 4♀♀ ( AMNH). MOZAMBIQUE: Niassa, Cuamba, Farm of the Catholic University of Mozambique, C. 11.III.2005, B. 13.III.2005, Sf. 4.IV.2005, M. Olmi reared from nymph of an unidentified species of Cicadellidae, 1♀ ( MOLC) .

Hosts. In Mozambique: unidentified species of Cicadellidae.
