Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 3.2–4.4 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus and anterior region of frons testaceous; antenna brown, except antennomeres 5–6 testaceous and 9–10 testaceous-whitish (in specimen from Madagascar, 14°26.36’S 49°44.36’’E, ventral side of antennomere 1 whitish, rest of antenna testaceous-brown, except antennomeres 6–8 brown and 9–10 testaceous); mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown. Antennal clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:6:19:9:8:8:7:7:6:10.5; antenna with ADOs on antennomeres 9 and 10. Head excavated, dull, granulate, with tracks of irregular striae; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; occiput dull, sculptured by numerous transverse striae; POL = 2; OL = 2; OOL = 8. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum shiny, unsculptured, crossed by strong transverse impression. Mesoscutum about twice as long as broad, dull, with some longitudinal striae, with two pointed apophyses laterally ( Fig. 240A View FIGURE 240 ). Mesoscutellum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, with track of median longitudinal furrow, sculptured by numerous longitudinal striae (in specimen from Madagascar, 14°26.36’S 49°44.36’E, metapectal-propodeal disc partly unsculptured and partly sculptured by slight striae); propodeal declivity with anterior half sculptured by many longitudinal striae and posterior half transversely striate (in specimen from Madagascar, 14°26.36’S 49°44.36’E, propodeal declivity unsculptured, except posterior half transversely striate and lateral regions of anterior half sculptured by slight transverse striae). Mesopleuron smooth, shiny, unsculptured. Metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 15:3:5:17.5:25. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 236D View FIGURE 236 ) with one small subapical tooth and one row of 5–7 lamellae in addition to 1–2 bristles. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 236D View FIGURE 236 ) with two rows of approximately 20–23 lamellae; apex with 10 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: MADAGASCAR: Fianarantsoa, 7 km SW of Ranomafana, 1200 m, 23.X.1988, montane rainforest, Pyrethrin fogging of dead leaves and sticks in bamboo vine tangle, M. Steiner, C. Kremen & R. van Epps leg. ( USNM). Other material: MADAGASCAR: Antsiranana, Marojejy National Park, Antranohofa , 26.6 km 31° NNE Andapa, 10.7 km 318° NW Manantenina, 14°26.36’S 49°44.36’E, 1325 m, 18.XI.2003, on low vegetation, montane rainforest, B.L. Fisher leg. GoogleMaps , 1♀ ( CAS) .

Hosts. Unknown.

Distribution. Madagascar.

Remarks. In this species the enlarged claw has a small subapical tooth. In spite of this character, the last two an- tennomeres show ADOs. This character combination is uncommon, though the enlarged claw has some lamellae.
