Paradicondylus australis Olmi 1994a: 74 (preoccupied by Gonatopus australis ( Ceballos 1936)) .
Gonatopus australis (Olmi) : Olmi 1998c: 72.
Gonatopus maputensis Olmi 1998c: 72 .
Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 3.5–4.0 mm. Completely brown-reddish. Antenna clavate, with ADOs on antennomeres 6–10; antennomeres in following proportions: 8:6:22:12:10:8:7:6:6:9. Head slightly excavated, dull, completely strongly granulate; frontal line absent; occipital carina absent; POL = 2; OL = 1.5; OOL = 9. Palpal formula 4/2. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, with anterior collar shiny, unsculptured, and with disc dull and granulate. Mesoscutum dull, granulate, without lateral pointed apophyses. Metanotum rugose, excavated behind mesoscutellum, with sides protruding; lateral protrusions of metanotum rounded. Mesopleuron granulate. Metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Metapectal-propodeal disc shiny, unsculptured, with longitudinal median furrow; propodeal declivity transversely striate. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 16:2.5:5:13:22. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 244A View FIGURE 244 ) without subapical tooth, with two proximal bristles, two subdistal lamellae and group of four distal lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 244A View FIGURE 244 ) with two rows of 10 lamellae; apex with group of approximately 15 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
♂. Fully winged; body length 2.2 mm. Head black, except ventral side, temple, malar space, clypeus and man- dible testaceous-dark; antenna brown, except scape and pedicel testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous. Antenna filiform, with antennomere 3 about 4.5 × as long as broad (9:2); antennomeres in following proportions: 5:5:9:7:6.5:6.5:6.5:6.5:6:9. Head dull, granulate and rugose; frontal line absent; occipital carina absent; POL = 5; OL = 2; OOL = 2.5; temple very short. Palpal formula 4/2. Mesoscutum shiny, slightly granulate. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli shorter than greatest breadth of lateral ocelli (2:3). Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, reticulate rugose, with deep median longitudinal furrow, with anterior surface mostly smooth. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; 2R1 cell open; 2r-rs&Rs vein curvilinear, with distal part much longer than proximal part (15:8). Dorsal process of paramere ( Fig. 244C View FIGURE 244 ) reduced to inner membranous band. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
