Coxigenital annuli numerous, 14. Leg— Segments normal. Leg І 43 (42–44), femur 14 (13–15), basiventral femoral setae (bv) absent; genu 6 (6–7), antaxial genual setae (l'') 37 (32–41); tibia 11 (10–11), paraxial tibial setae (l ʹ) 7 (6–8), on 1/5 from apical tibia; tarsus 10 (9–10); tarsal empodium divided, 7 (7–8); each branch 5-rayed, tarsal solenidion knobbed, 8 (8–9). Leg І 41 (40–42), femur 13 (13–14), basiventral femoral setae (bv) absent; genu 6 (5–6), antaxial genual setae (l'') 16 (13–19); tibia 10 (10–11), tarsus 9 (9–10); tarsal empodium divided, 7 (7–8); each branch 5-rayed, tarsal solenidion knobbed, 7 (7–8). Opisthosoma— With three longitudinal ridges, anterior median ridge divided for a short distance; dorsal annuli 47, smooth; ventral annuli 87, with round microtubercles. Setae c2 20 (16–24), on ventral annulus 16; setae d 55 (51–59), on ventral annulus 31; setae e 14 (13–17), on ventral annulus 51 (51–52); setae f 28 (23–34), on 7th ventral annulus from rear. Setae h1 present. Female genitalia— 20 (19–21), 30 (29–31) wide, coverflap with longitudinal basal ridges; proximal setae on coxisternum ІІ (3a) 8 (7–10).

Male (n = 2). Body 144, 63 wide. Male genitalia— 30 wide, proximal setae on coxisternum ІІ (3a) 7.

Type data. Holotype, female, Lizhou town, 24 km NE of Tianlin county (24°31'N, 106°24'E), Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, 4-Aug.-2005, from Rubus lambertianus Ser. (Rosaceae) , collected by Suigai Wei, Guoquan Wang and Dewei Li. Paratypes, 7 females and 2 males, were mounted on 9 slides, with the same data as holotype.

Relation to host. The mites are vagrant on the undersurfaces of the leaves, no visible damage seen.

Etymology. The specific designation is derived from the specific name of the type host plant.

Note. This new species is similar to Trimeroptes ilicifolia Keifer, 1964 , but can be differentiated by tarsal empodium 5-rayed, prodorsal shield smooth, genital coverflap with basal longitudinal ridges.
