DISTRIBUTION IN FRENCH GUIANA. — Widespread.

ECOLOGY. — Observed in both Alama mainstream and tributaries. This nocturnal species hides during the day in submersed tree roots and undercut banks. Captured using rotenone.

SPECIES CODE. — GCAR.
