Diagnosis. Size. Length, male, 2.42–3.34mm; female, 2.94–3.94mm. Width, male, 1.36–1.64mm; female, 1.70–1.98mm. As for T. clavisetosa except pronotal punctures and vestiture denser; flanks with punctures distinct, separate, without sulci. Scales of both pronotum and elytra arched. Punctures of ventrite 5 very fine and small. Aedeagus as in Fig. 196 View FIGURES 196–197 .

Geographical distribution. México (Chiapas).

Natural history. Collected from berlese extraction of mixed oak-pine-liquidambar forest and cloud forest litter at 1900–2000m.

Derivation of specific name. Through his support of the Nature Discovery Fund at the Canadian Museum of Nature, this species is named after Virginia Weadock of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, as a gift from Mario Lalanne.
