Diagnosis (from Smol et al. 2014). Oncholaimidae . Left ventrosublateral tooth almost always larger than the other teeth ( Metaparoncholaimus and Wiesoncholaimus have equal two ventrosublateral teeth and the smallest dorsal tooth); very rarely all three teeth of same size ( Oncholaimus keiensis , O. leptos ). Females monodelphic-prodelphic with antidromously reflexed ovary. Demanian system present or absent. Marine, brackish and freshwater.
