Holotype: No information about the life stage, USA. Whereabouts unknown; according to Chamberlin & Mulaik (1942), types deposited in University of Utah, but the material was sent to the American Museum of Natural History many decades ago (Christy Bill, pers. comm.) and then moved to Cornell University (Ofelia Delgado, pers. comm.) but not found. The material is assumed to be lost.
Distribution: Texas, Arizona ( USA); Guerrero ( Mexico).
Etymology: Named after the state in which the original material was collected.
