Holotype: F (unknown whereabouts). SOUTH AFRICA, Kruger National Park , Near Letaba, under rocks, NOV.1963, col. Dr. R. F. Lawrence.
Paratype: TN /F (a nearly mature adult) (unknown whereabouts), same data as holotype .
Distribution: Lebata ( South Africa).
Notes: The types were supposed to be deposited in BMNH, according to Hammen, (1977), but were not found (Janet Beccaloni, pers. com.) in the RMNH (Karen van Dorp, pers. com.) or in South African institutions (Eddie Ueckermann, Lizel Hugo-Coetzee, Petro Marais, Maggie Manyatsa, pers. com.).
Etymology: Dedicated to Dr. R.F. Lawrence, late director of the Natal Museum, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, who collected the specimens.
