Material examined. 1 Ô, 2 ♀, Iraq, Kurdistan Region, Halabja, Hawar Village , 35°09.31’N, 46°07.20’E, Elev. 925 m a.s.l. 14.XI.2020, leg. Farhad A. Khudhur. GoogleMaps
Remarks. Body colour is light brown, the presence of sclerotised processes on abdominal segments 7 and 8 ( Figs. 1a and 1b View FIGURE 1 ) and the size of specimens are consistent with recent redescriptions of this species ( Teslenko & Zhiltzova 2009). Leuctra fusca is one of the most common Palearctic species. Indeed, it is distributed in Europe, Russia, Siberia, Mongolia, China, Ukrainian Carpathians, Caucasus, Iran, Turkey, and Lebanon (DeWalt Hopkins, Neu-Becker & Stueber 2023). It appears from August till February from elevations ranging from 600 m to 2100 m. ( Mohammadian 2008, Teslenko & Zhiltzova, 2009; Darilmaz, Salur, Murányi, & Vinçon 2016; Cherchesova, Shapovalov, Mamaev, & Palatov 2023).
