Valid name: Pygoderma bilabiatum (Wagner, 1843)

Syntypes: ZMB 2712 , body in alcohol, skull not extracted, male, adult . ZMB 2713 , body in alcohol, skull extracted, male, adult. Both specimens from Suriname; donated by Schaufuss .

Comment: Although the syntypes were not found by Husson (1962: 187) and G.H.W. Stein (in litt.), and later Carter & Dolan (1978: 66) overlooked ZMB 2712, both were present in the collections during the investigation for this catalogue.
