P. interruptus species-group
Diagnosis. This group of species is characterised by the following morphological features: body flattened, elongate (ratio max length / max width: 2.35–3.09); eyes with short, squamiform interfacetal setae (except P. pustulosus without setae); angulate structure between antennal insertion and eye, visible in lateral view; pronotum narrower than elytra, without prominent median process; elytra at least 1.5 times as long as wide, lateral margins straight and smooth; elytra simple, costate or with low tubercles.
