A West Palaearctic species. It is known in Spain from Sierra de Guadarrama in the provinces of Madrid and Segovia, and, besides Spain, it is known from southern and central Europe ( van den Broek et al., 2018; Tsacas, 1968). It has been now found in Serra da Estrela. New species for Portugal.
