Remark. In order to stabilize the nomenclature, we hereby designate the dissected male syntype housed in the OUMNH collection as lectotype.
Distribution. Nepal ( Kishida 1993, 1994, as Eilema distorta , part) and Northeastern India (Sikkim and Meghalaya) ( Moore 1872; Joshi et al. 2015, as Z. neodistorta ), Thailand, Vietnam ( Černý & Pinratana 2009).
