Compterosmittia togalimea (Sasa et Okazawa, 1992) View in CoL
Epoicocladius togalimea Sasa et Okazawa, 1992: 149 .
Epoicocladius toyamaopea Sasa, 1996: 37 .
Compterosmittia togalimea (Sasa et Okazawa, 1992) : Yamamoto 2004: 16; Makarchenko & Makarchenko 2011: 111.
Material examined. Fujian Province, Shanghang County, 25°16’12’’N, 116°51’35’’E, 1 male, 7.v.1993, light trap, X. Wang; Guangdong Province, Fengkai County, Heishiding Natural Nature Reserve, 23°26’24’’N, 111°52’47’’E, 1 male, 23.iv. 1988, sweep net, X. Wang; Hubei Province, Hefeng County, 29°53’35’’N, 110°1’41’’E, 1 male, 17.vii.1999, 1200 m a.s.l., light trap, X. Wang.
Diagnostic characters. The adult male of C. togalimea resembles C. tuberculifera (Tokunaga, 1964) in having the well developed anal lobe of wing, but differs from the latter species by having the vein Cu1 strongly sinuous and the inferior volsella moderately projected, whereas Cu1 is moderately sinuous and the inferior volsella is strongly projected in C. tuberculifera .
Remarks. The species was described by Sasa & Okazawa (1992), but mistakenly placed in Epoicocladius Sulc et Zavrel. Yamamoto (2004) re-examined the holotype and transferred it to Compterosmittia . Mendes et al. (2004) did not include it in the review. Chinese specimens fit the diagnosis given in the original description.
Distribution. Oriental China, Japan, Russia (Far East).
