( Figs 5 View FIGURES 1–8 , 13 View FIGURES 13–16 )
Type material. CHINA, Yunnan: Holotype ♁, Xiajinchang (23.17°N, 104.8°E), Malipo County, Wenshan, 1470 m, 27.VII.2016, leg. KJ Teng et al., slide No. LiSR16206. GoogleMaps
Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished by the stout subparallel sided valva, the small triangular, apically slightly hooked sacculus, and the vesica of the aedeagus with spiny cornuti along its distal 2/5 length.
Description. Adult ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1–8 ). Wingspan 18.0 mm.
Head yellow, vertex mixed with brown laterally. Labial palpus in male yellow, with scattered black scales on first and at apex of second palpomere on outer surface. Antenna yellow on ventral surface; on dorsal surface, scape black, flagellum dark brown and yellow alternately.
Thorax. Mesonotum yellow, black at base and on lateral margins, grayish brown at apex; tegula black, yellow at apex. Forewing yellow, dark brown scales along basal 2/5 of costal margin, yellowish brown scales in basal 3/5, darker brown scales from basal 3/5 to near apex forming a large irregular circle; black spot at base near costal margin; discal, discocellular and plical stigmata black, discocellular stigma linked with dense brown scales; terminal dots brown, ill-defined; fringe yellow along costal margin, yellowish brown along termen and dorsum. Hindwing and fringe grayish brown. Legs yellow with exceptions: on ventral surface, coxa of foreleg with scattered blackish brown scales; on dorsal surface: femur and tibia of foreleg black, tarsus brown at middle of first tarsomere and at base of other tarsomeres, femur of midleg with scattered black scales, tibia black, ringed yellow at apex and at middle, tarsus dark brown at middle of first tarsomere; on outer surface: tibia of hindleg with scattered dark gray scales.
Male genitalia ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 13–16 ). Uncus elongate, conical, tapered from wide base to rounded apex, setose on lateral margin and on ventral surface. Gnathos reduced, represented by a membranous, very narrow band. Valva subparallel, densely setose, obtusely rounded at apex, with a setose digitate process arising from basal 1/3 below costa; costa banded, reaching about distal 1/4 of costal margin, with subtriangular process at base. Sacculus shorter than 1/3 length of valva, triangular, slightly hooked apically, with sparse setae on ventral surface. Saccus with basal 1/3 uniformly wide, thereafter narrowed to narrowly rounded apex. Juxta subquadrate, concave at middle on posterior margin. Aedeagus with basal 2/5 slender, distal 3/5 uniformly wide; vesica flagelliform, longer than aedeagus, with a line of spiny cornuti along its distal 2/5.
Female unknown.
Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin longus and flagellatus, referring to the shape of the vesica.
