Bordoloi, 10 /0 (0/ 1 /0 mounted); West Bengal, Malda district, Ravindrasarobar area, temporary pool, viii. 2009, leg. Chatterjee, 1 / 1 /0.

Records from the study area: Kerala—“ H. similis “ Cook (1967); Karnataka—“ H. mysorensis , H. kloomi “ Cook (1967); “ H. mysorensis , H. similis , H. kloomi “ Prasad (1974); West Bengal—Lundblad (1969).

Remarks: Lundblad (1969) synonymized Hydrachna similis Cook, 1967 , H. mysorensis Cook, 1967 and H. kloomi Imamura, 1964 with H. simulans .
