Diagnosis. The species of the Muiralevu africanus group can be recognized by the combination of the following characters:
1. Forewings with base of Ms1b part of basal median cell.
2. Forewings with cell formed by crossvein between base of Ms1a and M small.
3. Forewings colourless with only a small mark at base of first subcostal sector and some very faint infuscations. 4. Male pygofer with large and pointed lateral projections.
5. Apical part of male aedeagus often complex with many processes.
Distribution. Species of this group are found in western Africa.
