Diagnosis. The species of the Rhotana quadrimaculata species group can be recognized by the combination of the following characters:
1. Forewings with small dark spots at apices of some of the M sectors.
2. Facial carinae separated.
3. Forewings with Ms1 fork close to apex of the basal median cell.
4. Male pygofer without lateral projections.
5. Hindwings without marks.
Distribution. Species of this group are found in Queensland, Australia.
