Etymology. The species name is a Latin adjective (punctovenosus, -a, -um = with dotted veins).
Type material. Lectotype of R. punctovenosa , ♀ (designated by Zelazny 1981: 278), PHILIPPINES, Luzon I., Laguna Prov, Los Baños, Baker ( MMBC) ; Lectotype of L. irrorata , ♂ (designated by Zelazny 1981: 278), PHILIP- PINES, Mindanao I., Lanao del Norte Prov, Iligan, Baker ( BPBM, # 5205) .
